How do I turn on the GifSnap keyboard?

On iPhone

1. Open Settings and tap Keyboards
2. Turn on GifSnap
3. Allow Full Access

In the GifSnap app, tap the gear on Explore, then Set up GifSnap Keyboard › Open Settings to go straight to step 1. Then, in any chat, switch to GifSnap with the globe key, tap a GIF and paste it.

On Android

1. Turn on GifSnap Keyboard
2. Switch to GifSnap

In the GifSnap app, tap the gear on Explore, then Set up GifSnap Keyboard. Tap Open keyboard settings for step 1 and Choose keyboard for step 2. Android shows a warning for every keyboard. GifSnap only sends the GIF searches you type in its search bar.

In apps that support keyboard GIFs, tapping a GIF sends it straight into the conversation. Everywhere else, GifSnap adds the GIF’s link or copies it for you to paste.

Why does the iPhone keyboard ask for Full Access?

Full Access lets the GifSnap keyboard search GIFs online and copy them for you to paste. GifSnap never stores or sends what you type.

How do I report a GIF?

Open the GIF, tap ••• and choose Report GIF, or email us its link.

Where are the GIFs I make?

In Saved › Creations, on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.

Do I need an account?

No. Search, create and share without signing in.
